It\u2019s unlikely to be a Swift Sweep, though Taylor Swift is on track to land three singles in the U.K. top 10.<\/p>\n
With Swift\u2019s Speak Now (Taylor\u2019s Version) crushing the midweek U.K. albums chart, a trio of her singles are well-placed at the halfway stage.<\/p>\n
Based on sales and streaming data published by the Official Charts Company, Swift\u2019s Lover single \u201cCruel Summer\u201d could hold at No. 5; \u201cI Can See You (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u201d is tracking to become the highest new entry, at No. 6; and \u201cMine (Taylor\u2019s Version)\u201d is close behind, new at No. 8.<\/p>\n
As previously reported, Speak Now (Taylor\u2019s Version), the third in TayTay\u2019s rerecorded \u201cVersion\u201d series, is currently outselling the rest of the top 10 combined. Good luck to anyone chasing it. If the second half of the chart week plays out as expected, Swift will snag her 10th consecutive U.K. No. 1 album.<\/p>\n
None of Swift\u2019s singles have the legs of Dave and Central Cee\u2019s \u201cSprinter,\u201d which leads the race once again. \u201cSprinter\u201d is on its way to a sixth straight week at No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart; it leads an unchanged top three on the chart blast, ahead of Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s \u201cVampire,\u201d and J Hus featuring Drake\u2019s \u201cWho Told You,\u201d respectively.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue\u2019s infectious hit \u201cPadam Padam\u201d is upwardly mobile, and could sneak back into the top 10, at No. 9, while Jorja Smith\u2019s \u201cLittle Things\u201d (No. 13); the Weeknd, Madonna and Playboi Carti\u2019s \u201cPopular\u201d (No. 14); Gunna\u2019s \u201cFukumean\u201d (No. 16) and Tom Grennan\u2019s \u201cHow Does It Feel\u201d (No. 17) are on the rise.<\/p>\n
All will be revealed when the weekly chart is published this Friday (July 14).<\/p>\n
